About Mana Pools

We stayed with Goliath Safaris who have a camp in a beautiful spot by the Zambezi. This can be reached by a one hour charter flight from Harare or by a 6-7 hour road journey from Harare. The park is exceptional in that walking safaris are permitted. With Goliath's very experienced guides we often walk for 3 or 4 hours to track and view animals undisturbed by vehicles.

The camp is very comfortable with 7 tents and all meals and drinks included. Days start early but there is plenty of time to relax, fish or just watch life on the river.

They strike camp during the rainy season but are open from May to October. October is very hot but a great time for game viewing, earlier in the year you might need water bottles at night but can still be sure to see some great wildlife.
